A & E Trains Judges and Kadis on Intermediary Liability in the Digital Space

The National Judicial Institute organised a Refresher course for Judges and Kadis from the 11th to the 15th of March 2019. The theme of the program was “Re-positioning the Judiciary for Better Service Delivery”. The event was divided into 2 sessions daily, for the four days of the program and a final session for the last day. A & E Law partnership had the opportunity of making a presentation to the judges during the 2nd session of the first day.

The Session was Chaired by Prof. Ernest Ojukwu, SAN, Ojukwu, Faotu & Yusuf Law firm, Lagos while Mr Chibuzo Ekwekwuo, Managing Partner, A & E Law Partnership, Abuja delivered the lecture. The presentation lasted for an hour and with a Question & Answer session followed after.

In attendance were about 128 Judges of the Superior courts of record including the Sharia and Customary Courts of Appeal representing the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT.

The Refresher Course is the first training of many included in the annual NJI calendar.
